Dans le site de vente de la compagnie LEGO, deux types de méthodes d’achat de pièces individuelles sont disponibles. Voici un aide qui provient des forums ambassadeurs :
Bricks and pieces (B&P)
- accessible from support page same as replacement parts but paid Bricks & Pieces - Customer Service - LEGO.com GB
- should be handled by same team as well - at least for Europe directly from Billund, these are usually handpicked (at least this was true in 2014 when I was on LIT there)
- search by set number or design number or element number (from instruction book or aggregation site like Brickset) uses TLG numbering not BL !
- the stock usually copies what is in production by TLG at this time
- there is a lot of elements that are not available otherwise from TLG, but also a lot of them is removed, 99% of time you won’t find licensed stuff there
- result is then added to S@H basket as one item - order #. Should not count to free shipping.
- delivery times vary, could be one week or five depending on load (experience from DE-AT market)
- unfortunately the delivery countries are limited, not delivered to all that can get replacement parts and also not to all that have S@H (I’ll add a plea on that topic soon)
- usually comes in padded envelope without tracking - decide based on local post reputation. Damaged parts could be claimed with LEGO CC (like when they do shortsighted thing and pack 10 curved transparen polyacrylate parts in one envelope …)
- besides online it could be ordered also by phone, based on agent it might be better to exact parts numbers ready (instructions inventory, Brickset,…) than to have then look it up. They could see data on availability that is not there on site
- hint #1 - before sending order from BnP site to S@H do a backup from which you can copy-paste (PDF printout, text copy). This step is known to fail and even if copying those numbers one by one is a chore it is easier than searchign from start.
- hint #2 - watch online resources dedicated to this source for example articles on New Elementary or this topic on EB Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces - Page 234 - LEGO Licensed - Eurobricks Forums
- hint #3 - if you want special elements (for example food from 80101 or dragon scales from 80102) be fast, check often, otherwise you will have to buy them from BL sellers that do it faster…
- hint #4 - stuff gets restocked from time to time or some elements are delayed compared to the launch of the sets they come from (might check with CC over phone)
Pick a Brick (online) (PAB)
(disclaimer - I have never ever used it)
- integrated into the S@H site
- should come from warehouse(s)
- lookup by category/ color
- prices vary per production price and therefore could change over time (new sets, etc)
- selection is quite limited
- to be honest the common parts could be often found cheaper on BL, althought these come from TLG as really new
BnP vs. PaB online
- PaB is almost always cheaper
- BnP has bigger selection
- search by set/number (BnP) vs by category/color (PaB) - depends on person and use
- BnP can have prints and for common unlicensed parts they usually are available
- BnP can have Duplo, more Technic, some stuff from Education sets
BnP vs. BL/BO/3rd party
- BL is usually cheaper on common parts, except …
- when BnP is source for certion parts for BL sellers and comes cheaper, for special parts (mostly prints, etc) you might be already too late to get them on BnP thou Or parts early in their lifetime after release as BL sellers usually source for parting sets on deep discounts.
- on BL there might not be suitable numbers from one seller
- BL sellers can stock older parts (compared to current production on BnP)
- on BnP it can sell out and never come back (unless produced in new set),
- BnP is clearly new parts from TLG, BL you trust the seller
- BnP either delivers to your country or not, on BL there could be multiple sellers
- where BnP delivers the delivery cost is flat and smaller then most if not all BL sellers (due to corporate rate)
- while more expensive BL sellers might use courier service that is better (faster/more dependable/registered/insured) in your area than post
- the customer support is (probably) better on BnP than most sellers on BL most of the time
- on BnP no option of local pickup, whole minifigs, merging with set/instructions/gear/… order from same source, …
BnP vs. LUGBULK/Proj.support
- BnP has more variety
- BnP is faster
- BnP works for individuals, LB only for LUGs
- once getting to bulk quantities the price difference on LB really starts to matter
- elements could be produced for LB once found in the ordering system, on BnP you are left waiting if they come back
- BnP is good to refer to for LUG members that want ‹ 10 pieces of that accessory › in the LB
