Induction Ceremony into the Little Brick Hall of Fame
I was stunned to be recognized at Brickomanie alongside the wonderfully talented and inspirational builder Jean Bédard @bed007_bricks
Jean was selected as the 2024 inductee for leading the charge in many amazing builds, most importantly, the collaboration between the Fortress of Louisbourg (situated in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia) and ‹ Louisbrick › , a collective of amazing builders from @quelug. I am so happy to have been there to see Jean recognized for all his efforts.
Much to my surprise, I was honoured for the work I have done in elevating the Eastern Canadian LEGO Community. By refining the lens of the @maritimelug lighthouse, it has brought great attention to the talented folks that I proudly represent. I’ve shone that light as far afield as I can, but it shines brightest at @brickomanie.ca and @bricksinthesix and alongside @quelug and @officialtorolug . Building bonds with these wonderful neighbours has been an utter joy.
Just as rising tides lift all boats, a vibrant community makes every day better. Cheers to all of the hard working Canadian LEGO LUGs, all the creative Brick Artists, all the supporters, families and friends.
Special thanks to Graeme Dymond @dymondbricks for the wonderful speech, in French too! Graeme deserves all the accolades but hands them to others instead.

Cérémonie d’intronisation au Temple de la renommée de la Petite Brique
J’ai été stupéfait d’être reconnu à Brickomanie aux côtés du talentueux et inspirant constructeur Jean Bédard @bed007_bricks.
Jean a été sélectionné comme intronisé en 2024 pour avoir mené de front de nombreuses constructions exceptionnelles, notamment la collaboration entre la Forteresse de Louisbourg (située au Cap-Breton, en Nouvelle-Écosse) et « Louisbrick », un collectif de constructeurs exceptionnels de @quelug. Je suis ravi d’avoir été présent et de voir Jean récompensé pour tous ses efforts.
À ma grande surprise, j’ai été honoré pour le travail que j’ai accompli pour faire rayonner la communauté LEGO de l’Est du Canada. En peaufinant l’image du phare @maritimelug, j’ai mis en lumière les personnes talentueuses que je représente fièrement. J’ai fait rayonner cette lumière aussi loin que possible, mais elle brille de mille feux sur @brickomanie.ca et @bricksinthesix, ainsi qu’aux côtés de @quelug et @officialtorolug. Tisser des liens avec ces merveilleux voisins a été une joie immense.
Tout comme la marée montante soulève tous les bateaux, une communauté dynamique rend chaque jour meilleur. Bravo à tous les LEGO LUG canadiens qui travaillent dur, à tous les artistes créatifs de la brique, à tous les sympathisants, familles et amis.
Un merci spécial à Graeme Dymond @dymondbricks pour son magnifique discours, en français aussi ! Graeme mérite tous les éloges, mais il les transmet à d’autres.
Merci à Mike Onoufriou pour son dévouement et sa persévérance à la tête de ToroLUG. Mike a été une excellente source d’inspiration ces dernières années.
Merci à Patrick Bégin @begin.patrick pour avoir été un ambassadeur et un « brickmate » si inspirant pour moi. Patrick a été le premier « étranger » à venir me soutenir lors de la toute première @HFXBRXPLOSION, et ce geste me tient à cœur.
